About Us:
Smudge Pudge was started by visual artist MK Maher. “I have been a professional face painter for over 20 years, starting out in the world of airbrush face and body painting. Smudge Pudge was started in 2015 after the birth of my first child. I grew up in a household where fantasy and make-believe was always welcomed and I want to be able to carry that through into your events. As a trained painter and sculptor, I can also fabricate prosthetics and hand sculpted cosplay accessories to heighten the level of any costume or event.”
We are available for birthdays, school events, fundraisers, corporate events, street fairs and more. I offer painting on face and body for both kids and adults. From familiar super heroes to unique designs, we will make your event very special. And while face painting’s reputation is geared towards kids events, I can also do adult events, make-up sessions, costume parties, teen parties, etc.
We use high quality, FDA approved, cosmetic grade face and body paints such as TAG, Global, Wolfe FX and Fusion. Other accessories like glues and glitters are also cosmetic grade and safe for use on the face and body. Most paint is easily removed with plain water. For any stubborn staining that may occur with some colors, a mild facial cleanser or soap will do the trick. Gentle baby wipes and oil (like coconut or olive) will also remove paints and glitters. If your child has sensitivities, let us know and we can prepare the right materials.

Smudge Pudge, LLC has full liability insurance. We practice safe and sanitary measures for all of our clients. Products and brushes are cleaned and sanitized before and after each event.
